English/Language Arts Department Students Goals

By the end of this school year,

1. At least 70% of students will earn a 70% or better in their English Language Arts class each semester.

2. At least 80% of ELA students will meet their projected RIT goal on the Reading NWEA Assessment by the end of the year.

English/Language Arts Department Belief Statements

The English/Language Arts Department believes that with professional growth, communication, and a commitment to our students we can achieve greater continuity, build relationships with students, and create a professional learning environment that supports the learning of language, literature, written and oral communication, and the development of 21st century skills.
