The Churubusco High School Theater Department is proud to present "The SpongeBob Musical" on Friday & Saturday, November 10 & 11 at 7:00pm on the CHS Harold Norman Stage. Follow the popular animated-characters-turned-Broadway-stars in a musical comedy that follows SpongeBob and friends as they try to save their homes in Bikini Bottom from the volcanic eruptions of Mount Humongous. The high-energy musical features original pop/rock songs written by Sara Bareilles, Steven Tyler & Joe Perry of Aerosmith, John Legend, Lady A, Cyndi Lauper, Panic! At the Disco, Plain White T's, Yolanda Adams, and more! Tickets are available from any cast member, online at www.churubuscofinearts.com, or email baughmanm@sgcs.k12.in.us to reserve your seats. CJSHS shared this special news: COLLEGE BOARD HONOR RECOGNITION 2023 CJSHS is proud to announce that Elizabeth Dreibelbis, 12 and Ella Elias, 11 have been selected by the College Board Recognition Program for Rural and Small Town Schools. They were recognized for this honor because of their GPA and scoring in the top 10% of students on the PSAT last fall. Elizabeth is the daughter of Brent and Amy Dreibelbis of Churubusco. She is planning to attend Ball State University in the fall for Secondary Education. Ella is the daughter of Lucas and Crista Elias of Churubusco. She is planning to attend college in the field of English.
